Research
As a UX designer, I began by conducting interviews with administrators and stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements. Based on the research findings, I created a user flow to outline the journey of administrators as they navigate the dashboard. This helped identify the essential features and prioritize information based on user needs. I sketched wireframes to conceptualize the layout and structure of the dashboard. This allowed for quick iteration and feedback before moving on to high-fidelity designs.

Designing the admin dashboard for LC Cosmetics presented an exhilarating yet challenging journey, especially considering it was my first exploration into dashboard design. From grappling with understanding dashboard design principles to translating user needs into actionable features, every step was a learning curve. I found myself immersed in the intricate balance between data density and clarity, constantly experimenting with layouts and visualizations to ensure user comprehension. Time constraints added a thrilling edge, pushing me to manage my time effectively while still delivering a high-quality solution. Navigating through feedback loops, I honed my communication skills and learned to adapt swiftly, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. Overall, this project not only equipped me with newfound expertise in dashboard design but also instilled in me a sense of confidence and resilience in tackling unfamiliar design territories.
